All About Me!

Hi! My name is Emily Ger and I am a currently 2nd Grade Teacher at Wood Acres ES in Montgomery County. I am a product of MCPS education! I grew up in Montgomery County, attended all of my pre-college schooling years before graduating from Magruder High School!

I went to Towson University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree and certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am currently working towards my Masters in Educational Leadership at Hood College! Previous to teaching 2nd Grade at WAES, I have taught both First Grade and Third Grade at Bells Mill ES!

I currently live in Virginia with my husband! We do not have children (yet), but we have a sweet 4-year-old dog, Kona, who is our whole world! When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my friends and family, reading a good book, watching movies, and traveling to new exciting places.
